Adam Gelles

Throughout his career Adam Gelles has driven leading global Fortune 1000 firms to achieve revenue growth and operational success through business and marketing strategy. He has worked with and at some of the world’s leading marketers such as, Coca-Cola, General Motors, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, and Time Warner, to develop innovative solutions that have generated tens of millions of dollars. He has led multi-stakeholder management teams to consensus on complex cross-media marketing initiatives and the development of ground-breaking industry standards. His thought leadership on marketing and media has been published by leading publications including: The Myers Report, Forrester Research, and the Wall Street Journal.

Most recently, Mr. Gelles was the Group Manager, Industry Marketing at the Microsoft Corporation, where he led the team that was responsible for the go-to-market strategy for industry-specific marketing for the online services division. Prior to Microsoft, he was SVP Sales and Solutions for Fathom Online, a leading search marketing agency. More on Adam

Jim Harris
VP, Account Management

Jim Harris joined The AMM Group in 2008, bringing with him more than 20 years of marketing experience with companies including Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Cadbury Schweppes and International Paper Company. Mr. Harris also has been a successful entrepreneur and is an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve, having spent a year in the Middle East immediately before returning to the U.S. and joining The AMM Group.

Before deploying to the Middle East in 2007, Mr. Harris spent eight years as a Director of Marketing at International Paper Co., a Fortune 100 company for which he was responsible for marketing within a multi billion dollar division.

From 1996-1999, Mr. Harris held several brand management positions at Cadbury Schweppes, including Vice President, Specialty Brands (Motts Division). At Cadbury Schweppes, Mr. Harris developed and implemented a major corporate initiative which dramatically changed the strategy of the entire Specialty Brands’ portfolio of products, resulting in three-year sales and profit gains.

Mr. Harris also spent seven years at Unilever as a Product Manager in the Lever Brothers and Chesebrough Ponds divisions. At Unilever, Mr. Harris worked on brands including Ponds Cold Cream/Moisturizer, Signal Mouthwash, Aim Toothpaste and Impulse Body Spray.

Mr. Harris began his marketing career at Procter & Gamble, and after two years there he left to earn an MBA (concentration in marketing) from Syracuse University.

In addition to his corporate positions, Mr. Harris was a successful entrepreneur as owner of The Fit Walker (fitness walking/outdoor footwear). He researched the business concept and gained start-up funding for the retail concept store located in Westport, CT.
